Miss Tina Khanam

Miss Tina Khanam is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with over two decades of experience and more than 5,000 procedures performed. She is widely recognised as a leading cataract, cornea, and refractive surgeon, specialising in LASIK, laser eye surgery, cataract surgery, lens replacement, ICL, and corneal procedures.

Miss Khanam trained at University College London Medical School and completed specialist fellowship training in cornea at Moorfields Eye Hospital, a globally recognised centre of excellence. She has worked across top NHS and private hospitals including Imperial College London and King’s College, delivering safe and expert care to thousands of patients.

She holds advanced qualifications including FRCOphth, a Certificate in Laser Refractive Surgery, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cataract & Refractive Surgery from the University of Ulster. She serves as an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, assessing and certifying the competence of other surgeons.

Beyond clinical practice, Miss Khanam has authored 10 publications and delivered over 30 international invited lectures. She has served as Training Programme Director with Health Education England and as Clinical Lead for Women in Vision UK. She is the co-founder and trustee of the Mannan Foundation Trust, a UK-based charity supporting women and children in disadvantaged communities, and regularly volunteers in vision camps abroad.
